Mother’s Day Mini Sessions — A Weekend to Remember
Mother’s Day Mini Sessions - A Weekend to Remember
This past weekend, I held a series of Mother’s Day mini photo shoots in the beautiful New England town of Armidale. Across both Saturday and Sunday, twelve wonderful families joined me for intimate 15-minute sessions — each one capturing the love, laughter, and connection between mothers and their children.
This year, I added something special, along with a gallery of professional images, each family also received a short highlight video — a moving keepsake to relive the joy of the day.
Although the mornings were crisp and cool, the sunshine streamed through the windows, casting a golden glow across the space that my beautiful friend Jo owns - The Corner Store Armidale. I kept the setup simple and warm — soft florals from local florist Eve Flower Farm and glowing candles, created just enough detail to feel special without ever drawing attention away from what truly mattered: the people in front of the lens.
Each session was filled with laughter, playful energy, and heartfelt moments. As a mother myself, I know how often we’re the ones behind the camera — rarely stepping into the frame. These sessions were designed to change that: to create a beautiful, relaxed space for mums to simply be present with their little ones, and to walk away with memories they can treasure for years to come.
To the families who joined me — thank you. I can’t wait to share your images and videos with you soon.
It all begins with an idea
If you're looking for wedding photography and content creation that feels effortless, emotional and editorial, you’re in the right place.
Every journey starts with a spark — an idea that quietly grows until you can’t ignore it anymore. For me, that idea was simple: what if I could tell real love stories, not just take pictures? I didn’t want to just create pretty images. I wanted to capture the quiet glances, the in-between moments, the things you feel but can’t always explain.
The way your partner’s hand finds yours without thinking.
The way laughter breaks loose during speeches.
The way the world seems to pause the second you say “I do.”
That’s where it all began.
My love for weddings came from a deep appreciation of the fleeting — the moments you can’t script, pose, or recreate. Moments that deserve to be captured honestly, beautifully, and with heart. I knew from the very beginning that I didn’t want to limit memories behind a price tag or a photo count.
I believe your wedding day deserves to be told fully — with every meaningful detail, every emotion, every heartbeat.
No caps, no hidden fees, no memories left behind.
Photography and videography, for me, aren’t about perfection.
They’re about presence.
They’re about feeling — the kind that brings you right back to that day, even decades later.
This idea — this calling — has shaped everything about how I work, who I serve, and why I show up the way I do. I don’t just document weddings. I tell love stories the way they deserve to be remembered: real, timeless, and beautifully, unmistakably yours.
Thank you for trusting me with your stories.
It’s the greatest honour — and it all began with an idea.
